Cost of painting hall, stairwell & landing?
Just wondering what the typical cost of paining a hallway, stairwell and landing would be? One colour - beige or similar. Walls in good condition. Planning budget for next year. We live in Poole. Fairly typical size for a smallish detached house. Thank you!

Depending on area size, accessibility whether a ladder would be needed for the stairwell drop and if to include any woodwork eg doors/frames/skirting/handrails and staircase. walls only ?310. Any preparation work to be done then 325. All work including woodwork 475. If you wanted me to travel to you i charge 40% of my travel expenses.

Its hard to say as it would depend on the size, the condition of the surfaces. Also the amount of woodwork can be a big factor. The best way to get an exact price is to have the decorator view in person so they can determine the scope of the work

Labour wise theres always a painter will do it on a day rate price usually around 80 -100 a day most stairs hall and landings usually take around 2 days and cost of paint varies on the quality of emulsion
