I have just had a bathroom fitted as well as a new boiler, both by separate tradesmen. I have now found that my WC is filling with hot water when the boiler is on, both tradesmen say they have done nothing to cause this.
Do you have any advice on what the likely cause is how how simple it may be to resolve?
Thanks

Sounds like they have got the hot and cold pipes crossed, easy fix to a good tradesman, assuming one can get access to the pipes
Hello , it's acutely seems simple i think what they have done , they cross over the pipes by mistake so the water going to fill the wc system could be warm or really hot
i can fix it for you easily depend on how the pipes running through ,
if you would like i offer you a free visit won't cost anything to see exactly what's going on
Regards,,,,
Hi there
They put the flush water from the hitting sistem .You can change from separate could water pipe
The hot and cold water pipes has been crossed. Hence the hot is going to the toilets instead of the cold. Any plumber or handyman should be able to resolved this easily.
The only reason I can think this is happening is that the plumbers have got the pipework mixed up and installed the wrong pipe to your toilet, basically the have teed into the hot pipe instead of the cold pipe
Simply this is wrong feed for a cistern, should be coldfill only, either tank fed or mains fed.
I am a project manager. Toilet is connected to hot water pipe. Was there a problem with your old toilet? Did the bathroom fitter do new pipework? Definately wrong pipework. Get the bathroom guy back. The problem is if floor walls already tiled will have to come up to remedy the situation.
sad to say but who ever fitted the bath room must have confused the hot and cold feeds .i hope the pipes are easily accessible
that the cold feed pipe to your toilet has been crossed with the hot water feed
just a case of switching them around and confirming its a cold feed supply to your toilet...
could be a 3port valve letting by
one is responsible and it will be the bathroom fitter he as simply got the hot and cold water crossed not much of a problem unless floors etc are tiled.
The hot water feed pipe has been connected to the toilet inlet filler value. Access will need to be gained under floorboards/wall to connect cold water feed to toilet.
hi.yes its simple...the guy who did the job mixt the cold with hot..so that has to be replaced.
Oh dear. The bathroom guy is responsible and have piped up the wrong feed to the w.c.
Have him return to correct it.
You need a plumber to sort it out. Looks like there is wrong connection

Get independent advice and Bill who is responsible if both refuse taking responsibility for what happened.
They have connected Hot Water feed to Toilet rather than Cold feed if this is the only piece of Sanitary Ware that does this, so whoever fitted your Bathroom made mistake, otherwise all cold taps would run hot
