Hi there you need to first make sure the bathroom floor is sealed i.e. Maybe marine ply wood or watever so it doesn't happen again , then retile or watever it is you want . I suggest call floor layer for this first . Then you will either need to call a plasterer to sort out the ceiling or which by the sounds of it you will need too either replace the whole ceiling or just patch it in . U/they will need to find the wooden joists to screw the new plasterboards too first then screw the board ( fire board preferably as it in a kitchen ) to the joists .
Then you finish with plaster , hope this helps
Thanks B&D Plastering

If you have water damage, as the ceiling dries out the boards will shrink and crack. I would repair main area that is damaged and patch skim and for a better finish skim the whole ceiling. Repair the floor above where required.

It sounds like the ceiling has been lowered and the best thing would be to get rid of both ceilings/ plasterboard. Re-plasterboard and insulate then plaster :)

Firstly take the floor boards up around to fix the leak on the toilet once fixed replace any damaged floor boards then once the leak and boards have been mended it'd be a case to take down the damaged plaster boards on the kitchen ceiling replace with new then skim the ceiling with plaster

Cut out damaged plaster board on Kitchen ceiling and reboard and skim ceiling. That is after you sort leak out from above. You do not need to replace plaster board above your ceiling

First contact your insurance provider. Then allow natural airflow or a humidifier to remove damp issue..then get two plasterers estimate to remove the damaged ceiling and replace and reskim
