Intermittent Hot water in shower

The en-suite shower (Aqualisa -old model) which runs off the boiler ,every 2/3 days decides not to give out hot water. This has been going on for a number of weeks. The rest of the hot water supply to all other sinks/baths is fine and there is no issue with the heating. What could the problem be?

Hi there Anthony from A&r response.

The problem is the cartridge inside of the thermostatic shower which runs of the boiler. Has worn out. This is a maintenance issue and is casued by the mains water been hard. Cost to replace the cartridge £290
How to stop the hard water. Have a water softener installed which runs of salt crystals. Cost £980-£2100 depending on the size of the property. The bigger the property the larger the water softener required.

It is 100% The thermostat within faulty due to age/scale. It can be maintained with a new thermostat that will need to be ordered from aqualisa.
