Pva or New plaster paint and wallpaper?

I have recently had bedroom walls reskimmed. I have been advised to pva them, previously in other rooms, I used Trade new plaster paint. I will be painting 3 walls and then getting one wallpapered. I have also some imperfections to polyfill. Could someone please advise what I am best doing?

You should never pva new plaster, just a coat of watered down Matt emulsion, then you can fill anything seen, rub down the wall then paper

The fact that you will wallpaper one of the walls, ill put straight away a full coat on all 4 walls(let to dry), ill carry on with filling all the imperfections and rubbing down the excess of filler, till we believe we have a smooth surface. Dust off!!!and one more full coat. After the second coat applied, ill take care of the wallpaper. Once the wallpaper is fitted i'll just obviously protect it and then applying the final coat on the other 3 walls

Don’t Pva the walls, use a diluted trade contract paint to soak into the plaster and will also highlight any imperfections in the plaster. Before papering the wall use diluted wallpaper paste to size the wall
