How much paint do I need for doors?

Approximately how much gloss paint would I need for 10 doors. My painter has told me to buy 2.5 litres and I don’t think that’s enough. I also have skirtings and door frames. I don’t want to have too little paint when he comes. Thanks

Depends if they need 1 coat or two get a couple of tins you can allways take tins back you done use and if you have a open can left keep it in case you need to touch it up yourself

You will need 3 coats of paint for your doors and trim to look perfect. Door is 6 m² and 1 litter will cover 15 m²

If its 10 doors both sides with also skirtings and architraves then I would recommend 5 litres of gloss as the decorator will most likely be rolling and brushing out the doors which will soak up more gloss.

Depends if you apply 2 coats for final coat. Better off buy 5L oil base and make sure you mix that with white spirit.

Hi you would need at least 2 2.5litre tins (possibly more depending on how many coats it needs) and must be decent quality ie dulux . Additionally I would get a different decorator ie someone who knows what they are doing
