Leaking roof - fixing poor work
Hello,I first used this particular roofer about 4 yrs ago.He said it will last close to 20 yrs.A couple of years later,they were called out again for the exact same problem.Then last week,the same area leaked again.I called them again to repair it.The 1st day he promised to come round,no response.He said he'd come round the next day,no visit,no call.After that I've called and there's no response.How do I get them to repair their own poor quality work and maybe to warn people out there about their dishonesty.Thank you

First off I would get in contact with citizens Advice but they will give you your options I would also check on your invoices whether they did actually give you any guarantee for their work and also so I would get another roofer in to inspect any work that has been carried out Prior and try to find the problem before it results in a bigger one that would be my advice

First of all try again to contact them if no response report them to the site you got them of or you can pursue them through the trading standards and company house

Firstly make sure your tradesman has insurance. Alway get a quote for work explaining every step of work being carried out. invoice stating that the work has been carried out stating any changes, that should of been discussed fist if so. Make payments via bank transfer, make a record of any contact you have made. Then make a small clam through the courts

To be honest I wouldn’t really want them back on my roof You need to call a proper roofer to fix the problem once and for all unfortunately there’s loads of guys like this in Every trade They don’t take any pride in their work they just want the money.

You will unfortunately not get a response he should respond and come and fix. spread there name to friends and family

Your better to just get completely new trader and fresh work carried out with guarantee and problem solved
