I would advice if your looking for a high quality kitchen, is to use Howdens or Wix. B&Q you could use, if you are looking to work with a small budget.

I would suggest going for an Ikea kitchen. They are not too expensive and easy to fit and also. From experience of fitting different kitchens. The Ikea kitchen is a stronger kitchen when fitted properly. Especially when you fit the base and high cabinets to the wall. The fixing brackets are stronger which means you will get a solid fixture and secure fit to the wall. B&q is cheap but not as solid as Ikea. However the most important part is the design and preparation for the kitchen to be fitted. I would advise to spend time with the person who is going to fit the kitchen doing the measurements and a general design of the kitchen. This way you and the fitter save loads of time when it comes to the job duration. If you need and assistance am happy to help. I am a carpenter. And fitting kitchens is one of my specialty. Feel free to call me on 07723645180. Ian.

In my opinion taking into consideration of the fact you rent the property, i would recommend Howdens as an ideal cost effective middle/above standard quality supplier.

If you were looking to have a higher standard of supplier i would then recommend lohn lewis/Wren

As we supply our own kitchens I have to say we are obviously a little biast and have to say SC Kitchens. Given your situation though, your choices are important. Never choose what you like unless it the syle/colour of kitchens that most people like. This helps your property be more appealing to the morjority of people.
Depending on your budget if can, opt for a composite worktop that can be cheaply made to look like the day in was installed between tenants, no matter how much it is damaged.
Choose Flat slab doors with handles rather than handleless doors as they are more durable over time.
Ensure it is fitted by a true professional kitchen fitter not a carpenter or builder as they rarely have the experience to fit correctly which will severely reduce the lifespan of the kitchen.
If choosing laminate worktops, then choose light textured good quality ones which will last much longer, any scratches made on them are difficult to see.
I that helps.

There are so many kitchen suppliers to choose from. We have used quite a few of them. Jewsons & Howdens seem to be the favourites for our customers.
