Its up to you but it will pay in the long run because they are very good on fuel as it only uses gas when you turn the hot water on and goes of when you turn the tap off its the same when using the heating and there you are not boiling a tank full of water and letting it cool then boiling again when you need a bath
Yes it comes under a plasterers trade but many builders can perform this job equally as good
All good plumbers know that the cold is on the right side and hot on the left but i have seen jobs that a diy er has put in and they have been the wrong way around so its best to check on the pipe that supplies the tap,and back to the question at hand these mixers are designed to work with the cold on the right side as normal
A carpenter or builder would do the work but i would have a electrician to undertake your wiring jobs so my best bet is your builder is the best bet because he would get is own electrician in as a matter of safety
