I have been a decorator for 32 years, doing a time served apprenticeship at the age of 16.
In 2007 I started R.Gwilliam Decorators and have gradually taken on a clientele and customers and now have a good customer base with customers using ourselves year in year out.

Prepare ceiling and walls ie take out cracks and repair and rub down.

bare plaster, emulsion with thinned down emulsion for 1st coat and then apply filler if needed and rub down

You can now buy kitchen and bathroom paint, ether that or a emulsion that contains a anti mould solution.
All depends how big your ceilings are, i charge 10.00 per door and casing per coat.
