Hello ive been in the plastering and building trade since 1985
i have adapted to doing other trade with quality tradesman working along side me in a friendly enviroment.I have always quoted reasonably and alot of the time have stayed busy.
i am at present in the checkatrade but are exploring other options .

well our business turn limited over the last year and have most of my life been a sole trader.
We provide for most building trades but plastering being are main course of works at present.I do provide a 24hr service in case of any call out or insurance work

Answers:
Most plasterers will that job with ease
It will depend on how thick the artex is on your kitchen ceiling and weather its still solid up there which meaning its not loose in any of the areas of the ceiling
It shouldnt have happened with the paint unless the preparation wasnt goood enough but the reason why the plasterer probably told you to paint was to hold back the suction but no you didnt have to do it when you could have gyp-bond it instead
