Painting walls in new house

Yes apply a thin coat of pva glue to the way to create a barrier leave it to dry then paint over

Correct paint for doors?

Hi there there is lots of options to paint your wood i would recommend dulux gloss and depending on what you like you can get high sheen gloss which is shiny satin which is a bit dimmer or egg shell which has no shine but before you put any gloss on i would recommend you put a undercoat on first which will give you a better finish and yes use the same paint on your skirting boards

Best white paint for wood

I would recommend a undercoat first and then dulux eggshell

First use white undercoat and don't be shy with it once dry go over with white emulsion matt, the matt cover any indescrepencies on your wall like humps and bumps. hope this helps

How to remove emulsion before wallpapering?

Hi there you don't have remove the emulsion the wallpaper will go straight over the top of it.
