History:
originally it started out as my fathers business around 18 years ago as P&B Tiling, I fully joined the business 4 years ago and as of this year he has retired, therefore I have taken over and rebranded the business as A.W.D Tiling

Answers:
You can get flexible water resistant grout, obviously these types are a little more expensive than you every day grout but obviously made for a reason 😉.
also, i would suggest leaving a 2-3 mm gap from your work surface to the bottom of the first row of tiles.
