About Us:

I've been fitting carpets and vynils since leaving school,so 29 years,including, antico, linoleum, sisal,latex screening,plywood,I do wall to wall stairs and stair runners.i have big fiat van and all electrical tools needed.am currently on full time employment so most would b evenings or weekends,

History:

Started when left school so been fitting for 29 years.my first employer was theatre curtains and carpets so spent 12 years travelling the country doing all ABC.cannon and odeon cinema.also worked in most of the theaters in the west end and surrounding areas

You only glue all underlay to the floor when durafitting which means your also sticking the carpet to the underlay,that is only done when customer requests for this or you have no way of fixing gripes but there's normally always a way,most durafitting is done in hotels ,where there trolleys being pushed along floor,or big areas like bingo halls.ect....the cat smell sounds like you have a damp issue so dpm,,,damp proof membrane could be a solution.any damp reading over 200 would need this
Sounds like you have damp problems,dpm,damp proof membrane is the solution. any reading over 200 on a damp tester would conform confirm this
As long as you don't have more than a 20mil gap around the laminate so that you can fit the grip per and as long as your flooring is not bouncing to much then it's not a problem
If your floor is wood you will need minimal 6mil ply,if your floor is concrete then it needs self levelling latex
