Well depending on the job itself, if it is a straight forward job where i have to do not more than one coat we are looking at a minimum of 600£ and a maximum of 900£. would need about 2 to 3 days of good woodwork preparation and then another 3 days of all paint work. i would do a maximum of 7 days on the job, i dont like rushing especialy when dealing with gloss
I would suggest a weathershield primer and finish paint. preparation is important if wood is flaking sand dow all flakes and wipe the wood with a damp cloth to remove any dirt so that paint can hold u can also use sugar soap to clean the wood before undercoating. prime the wood first and when its dry apply one or two coats of finish paint i suggest oil based primer and oil based finishing paint they tend to be more durable and weather resistant, this will protect your wood from any harsh exterior conditions snow rain etc
Yes try long pile roller, i have noticed than long pile rollers leaves no marks whichever type of paint you are using, this i different from short pile roller because the edge of the roller always leaves marks, nomatter how much you lay off
Yes its possible if the existing wallpaper is firmly adhered to the wall and has a smooth texture other wise rough textured wallpaper will reflect and make the new wallpaper finish uneven and not good looking.
I would suggest you get easy care or vinyl matt for bathrooms this paint would be moisture resistant and also affordable, but if you are realy tight on budget you would have to go for silk or mid sheen it would be an economical way for water proofing your bathroom but at the same time matt is more recommended for a new plaster
