it could be your cooker but unlikely. i’m
guessing you had a old consumer unit without a rcd and that has now been changed for a new consumer unit with rcd protection. so the fault could of alway been there but your old consumer unit wasn’t ably to identify the fault.
but this could also be down to a number of different thing.

The short answer is you don’t need to change it as it was complying with the regulation at the time of install
