Yes you will need building reg. you will also need a structural engineer if you havnt removed the chimney from the roof down as a steel will be required.
Yes it may not be a load bearing wall. an inspection under the floor boards can better determine this. i would however, ask a builder to visit to determine this as there are other factors that need to be checked.
There are so many kitchen suppliers to choose from. we have used quite a few of them. jewsons & howdens seem to be the favourites for our customers.
The microwave would be connected with a 3 pin plug, so it can be completed by a kitchen fitter.
Our plaster does all our screeding, we charge £50 per meter at 60mm as long as it is over 5m2, as anything under would be price per job.
