“Fabulous service from Transform bathrooms. Tarik was quick to assess, helped me access my tiles, measured perfectly and quoted a good price which they stuck to. Martin our tiler was very nice and considerate to have around and he did a first class job. Thankyou both ! ”
“Tarik was excellent - the tiling of our bathroom floor was very professional. He removed and re-installed the toilet and free-standing bath for us, returning on a bank holiday to complete the job. In another bathroom a new shower cubicle and tray was fitted to a high standard. His work ethic and attention to detail was very impressive and we can thoroughly recommend him to others. Thank-you Tarik for all of your hard work. ”
In all likelihood, the reason why it's cracking is because the substrate (the surface or boards under tile) is not the correct one for tile.
tiles by themselves are not strictly waterproof. water will always get behind them via the grout. so, the substrate needs to be made out of the right boards and correctly tanked. specifically how and what depends on the existing wall. you should get all tiles off, and get a bathroom fitter (not a plumber who dabbles in tiling) to prep the wall and tile it so that it's done properly from start to finish. i hope this helps. tarik
