Hi there,

you could try removing the shoe from the end of the pipe and adding a universal connection to the end that goes into the ground. once you have added the connector, you can add a 1m length of rain pipe to the connection and divert the rainwater to the drain.

you would need to purchase some new brackets to attach the new diversion to the wall.

hope this helps.
Hi there,

how much would you say you had, 1/2 a van load, 3/4 of a van load.

typically, you'd be looking at anywhere from about £50 min to about £130+ but it all depends on how much there is.

some people can do the removal in the back of an estate car, making it more economical and slightly cheaper to remove.

hope this helps.
Hi there,

you can arrange for a handyman to pick up flatpack furniture from ikea (providing you give them the order reference number etc). i have been asked to do this before. the handyman may charge you a little extra for collecting the item before assembling, but it all depends on who the handyman is.

its not out of the ordinary for a handyman to be asked to collect the order before assembling it.

hope this helps.
Hi there,

skirting is optional, unless you have specified that the skirting is to be included in the price. did you ask the painter to include this is his quote ?

depending on the size of the square meterage would determine how much he charged, but normally a box room can cost anywhere from £200-300.

hope this helps.
Hi there,

you can paint wood and plaster the same with a matt emulsion, but the best thing to do would be to put a wood primer onto the wooden beams before painting with the black emulsion.

hope this helps.
