Noise from radiators is normally down to air. you could try venting your radiators.
Sounds like you have a blockage. could firstly try clearing your trap if accessibly.
This should not happen. unless the pipe is fitted to a speed fit type fitting.
Hi chris, ideally it should have been skimmed using beads but you could feather the corners in.
