Full kitchen re plaster - Plastering job in Wells

“Kitchen ceiling was re-boarded, plastered and painted. Walls were all levelled, tidied, re-plastered and painted. With a kitchen hiding many flaws, Daniel has done an incredible job with the finished room being unrecognisable. Consistently great communication throughout the process, offering help & guidance as issues were discovered. Would highly recommend Daniel’s work and professionalism.”

Plastering/Boarding - Plastering job in Wells

“I cannot recommend Dan enough, I genuinely feel lucky that we found him to do our work. He was efficient, communicative and advised us on lots of issues we were facing. His pricing was very reasonable too. He is meticulous and honest - something you don’t get with a lot of tradesmen. His attention to detail is second to none, his friendly manner and him going out of his way to get work finished for us really stood out. I would highly recommend Dan to anyone who needs plastering work done - or any other work he covers. You won’t meet a more honest and genuine guy! ”

There isn’t any normal practice… it’s what is mutually agreed between client and tradesmen… problem is it might seem the wrong way round but if you look at it from a tradesmen point of view… they have to supply all the materials and labour (a big cost) on the understanding that they will be paid for this at the end of the job which is simply a big huge risk… they too have families and homes to feed and keep… not everyone is honest… if you go to a supermarket and do your food shop you pay for the goods before you take them home….

on the clients side there trusting a good job will be done and done when stated… so there is a big risk either side… i prefer to go 50/50 so risk is equal unless otherwise agreed with clients as everyone is different.
Hi there, i too complete a lot of plastering and especially over artex, i mix pva with water 50/50 and give the ceiling a good coat allow it dry and then apply another once tacky get your self a bag of multi finish and start your mixing process but in your first coat add a couple handfuls of bonding…. it helps fill out a bit better…. then fresh mix just multi for your second coat…. always apply your first coat slightly thicker… you want to have pretty much covered the artex with first coat….

hope that helps you
Yes as a plasterer myself i would do this for you. hope that helps
You would want to seek out a chippy (carpenter) or a good all round handyman to fit new skirting board but a painter and decorator would obviously coat them for you
