Hi , what area are you? the ridge should be fully battened all the way along the apex in order to have something to fix the ridgetile too.

Depends on location, difficulty of the roof, what tile etc etc.
im based in merseyside and would charge in the region of £320-£450 depending on access and difficulty of the roof, and ease and price of sourcing correct tile to match.
