Beenrecommended

"I cannot speak too highly of Darren and his work. He is great company - polite, friendly, efficient and thorough. He is already booked to come back in the Spring to sort out my patio, and my son (who visited while Darren was working) has taken his business card for future reference. You have to keep the mugs of tea going though!!"

"Darren worked quickly and we were very pleased with the shower installation and the clean-up of the tile grouting. Darren is easy to talk to and delivers as promised. Can happily recommend him."

"Darren is the best. From start to end, he was amazing. Nothing was too much for him to do. Used his own initiative to give us a great job. His finishing was fantastic, not to talk about his price quotes! It was best compared to 4 other tradesmen I called. Do not hesitate to contact him. Shout to his right hand man too. Kamil. Both of them were very professional n competent. Thank u guys. Hope u will be back to install our Media wall."

"Darren turned up promptly to price the job, and to do the work. Was pleasant and efficient (notwithstanding a little mission-creep!). I happily reccomend him."

"Excellent work highly recommend, would definitely use again 5 star ???? "

"Although I initially had Darren come and quote for my kitchen, I ended up needing some other work done after some water damage from recent storms in the bedrooms. Darren was swift to get me a quote for the insurance company and then when agreed has come and done the work to a very professional standard. Both Darren and Rich are great and would recommend them any day and will use them again for more work that needs to be done. They clean up afterwards leaving me with nothing to do . A 5* job"

"Darren has just completed a complete bathroom refurbishment and created a new downstairs toilet for us. We would definitely recommend him to others. He is very personable and whenever any potential issues arose, nothing was ever too much of a problem. His plastering and tiling skills are excellent. It's been nice to find a builder who we felt like we could trust to do a good job and not rip us off in the process. "

"We had our bathroom completely renovated by Darren we could not have made a better choice. Reliable ,professional and a total all rounder. "Had to make good all work - tiling looks nice but there was a cracked tile that I had to point out. Sealant around the bath wasn't straight, again I had to point out. Toilet seat was crooked, again I had to point this out. "

"Darren is a very nice man and is easy to talk to, gave great advice and ideas. Darren really puts the hours in not like some tradesmen I have had, and gives reasonable quotes. Would definitely recommend him and call him again in the future."

"Very professional, very well done, great satisfaction."

"Having been let down by previous contractors, Darren stepped in last minute to help us with a kitchen replacement on a refurbishment project that we were carrying out with a rental property. His workmanship is excellent. He can turn his hand to most things and helped us out with a number of other additional jobs during the refurbishment. Easy to communicate with, possesses lots of common sense and is a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended."

"Darren is such a lovely genuine guy.very helpful and trustworthy. We had a total bathroom re fit and we are very happy with the finish. Definitely have more jobs in the pipeline. "

"Darren is simply superb !!!. Presently I am abroad and my job is always taking me away, that is where someone such as Darren is God sent. He delivered excellent job inside the flat and outside on the garden with very good materials in my absence. I will recommend Beenrecommended to anyone at anytime for a job if Darren says he can handle the job. His charges are modest compared to his excellent skills. Very punctual to work and very productive everyday. I hopefully have another job for him."

"Not a quality job - rather disappointed. Kitchen ceiling below was flooded, lights in wrong place, tiles uneven, grout splashes left, exterior pipes left secured with nails instead of clips, shower tray left filthy and slanted away from the waste, but worst was a bathroom light was left with earth and neutral wires swapped even though they said they had checked it. Etc, etc."

"We asked Darren to come in after we had a disaster with our previous contractors. He was friendly, reliable, timely, fixed the awful mess the previous contractors made within the fee quote and timeline provided, and we are so grateful. He was a pleasure to work with, and we will definitely use him again in the future."

"Darren and his son Fred did a very good job in renovating our bathroom. I have put excellent because of the following: 1. Very good communication and prompt reply to to texts. 2. Good advice and knowledge. Saved us money by suggesting cladding instead of retiling our shower. 3. Good father and son teamwork. 4. Friendly and chatty, but get on with work and do a quick job. 5. Good response. Came straight away to view on the same day. Will definitely be using then again!"

"Darren was absolutely amazing. I was having problems with the tiles in my bathroom and couldn't stand the site of them. He came up with some amazing ideas and turned my bathroom from an eyesore into a deluxe bathroom of which now I can enjoy my time in. He also boxed up my electric metre which was out in the open, as my hallway is very narrow he created a box that was more than practical. Darren has truly helped my house feel more like home. "

"Very pleased with the bathroom refit. Old suite removed and replaced, but with only one toilet in the house Darren made sure that he always left the toilet functioning, over bath shower fitted, with pressure pump under bath, tiled around wet area and half way round remaining area, floor tiled. Darren worked alone and always left everything tidy, he didn't try to talk me into anything I didn't want or need and was helpful in suggesting suppliers. Darren is reliable and a nice, easy going guy. "

"Darren was very professional and inventive when fitting my kitchen as it was a very customised one and it was not well designed. Thank you for all your hard work! "

"Can't recommend highly enough! Darren did a great job of installing a disabled shower / toilet cubicle. He came up with solutions for all the issues encountered and really thought through where to place seats, grab rails etc. We will definitely ask him to come back and do any other work that may come up. Rachel"

"Would highly recommend Darren."

"We had a complete refurbishment of our bathroom. Apart from changing the bath, shower, tiling the walls and floor etc, it meant lowering the floor level and adding a radiator. All of this was carried out extremely well. We now have a modern bathroom. And it is worth adding that Darren is a very nice guy - if you let a workman into your house for a fairly large job this is important. Highly recommended. "

"Did an excellent job, dismantling our greenhouse and fence. Took all the materials away and left area very tidy. All at a good price. "

"Darren was great, and fully intend to use him again. Helpful, efficient and reliable. "

"Darren was great - he worked very hard, listened and came up with some great ideas for our bathroom. He also persevered with some tricky tiles we bought. Thoroughly recommend."

"We chose Darren because he gave us the best quote and clearly had the expertise to carry out the technical elements of our job. The bonus to working with Darren was how unobtrusive it was to have building work going on in the middle of our house. He was accomodating of our toddler & our cats, left things clean at the end of each day and even the little things like making sure the washing machine remained plumbed in & usable for the duration of the work really made the whole process a breeze. "

"Darren refurbished our bathroom completely from wetroom to bathroom. Beautiful finish, clean worker & gave us lots of advice about our own diy projects. Would highly recommend. "

"Darren has helped us create more storage space in our flat by making and installing shelves into the cupboards, and also installing a bathroom cabinet with electric lighting. Overall we are very pleased with Darren's quality of work, flexibility and punctuality. He provided an accurate quote and receipts for the materials, also found boards of a matching colour as requested. Definitely would use his services again and recommend to others!"

"We feel very lucky to have found Darren as he is honest, hardworking and reliable. Our job required further work to be done the next day and Darren came back first thing, on a Sunday, and worked an extra 5 hours for the initial price he quoted. We have already got more jobs lined up for him."

"Darren and Lovel were a skilled and hard-working team when we renovated our Victorian 3-bed flat. They came up with cost effective solutions to all the problems we faced and were prepared to work some flexible hours to get the job done on time. Their plastering skills are outstanding, and included papering and painting walls, ceilings and woodwork. They also installed our kitchen, and we were very happy with the outcome and the overall price. "

"Darren gave us a reasonable quote and did a tidy job. He also responded quickly when we had a small problem after the job was completed."

"Darren provided a reasonable quote and did a great job on sorting out my bathroom. Fitted a window which included an ventilation fan as well as re plastering the ceiling and redecorating the whole bathroom. It now looks great and I will definitely use Darren again in future (thank you!!)."

"Darren arrived on time, sent the quote quickly and completed the job to a good standard. Good communication throughout, very reasonably priced and I’d happily recommend him to anyone. "

"Darren gave me a reasonable quote for my kitchen, attended promptly and did a good job. He also cleaned efficiently after. He also made sure that any outstanding work post completion that I spotted was quickly rectified. He also did some additional work for me at no additional cost. I have already asked him to come back in a couple of weeks to do some more work!"

"Hallway and landing were stripped, lining paper hung, walls painted, all doors, skirting and bannister primed and glossed, in just one week! I was amazed at the quality of the finish, especially as he worked on his own so quickly. There is no messing around, Darren arrives when he says he will and he works right through. After each day he cleaned up and I trusted him enough to leave him on his own. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. I will be using his service again. "

"Darren did a great job painting our three bedroom flat. He also put down some boarding to even up our lounge floor and replaced two doors and put new door handles on all the internal doors. "

"quote was in middle of all that I received but I felt that I could trust Darren and he made some great suggestions. Kitchen looks fantastic, very well fitted, looks far more expensive then it was. Nothing was too much trouble - spent half a day driving around looking for a worktop for me when I had not ordered enough. Would recommend and will use again when I get my bathroom done"

"Darren did an excellent job painting the front of our house. He kindly did the job himself, with very short notice and at a competitive price. Thank you Darren"

"Darren an excellent job, we finally have a reliable and responsible handyman. Keep the flag flying, Darren, you are a blessing."
