Bathroom fan

I need a extractor fan fitted in my bathroom, my thoughts are a small fan in the celling with the pipe going in to the loft, then venting out via a softer vent, I understand that you may look at this and say it is not possible, so I am open to ideas. So the question is, is this some thing you can do? If so is it possible for you to give me a price please?
