Removal of 1 water cylinder, replace element in 2nd

I have 2 immersion heater cylinders & a gas boiler, both immersions have stopped working. I want 1 immersion cylinder removed, check that the boiler and 2nd immersion cylinder flow correctly to both bathrooms once the smaller cylinder is removed. New element to be fitted to remaining cylinder.
