A marmoleum floor was laid in my kitchen/vestibule and toilet in May. Between May and now a small leak from the cold water inlet went unnoticed until some tiles were seen to be lifting and underneath the damp proof layer and board was found to be damp and the tile unglued where it had washed away. As the floor had been laid on top of the original vinyl the floor was raised and to pull out the washing machine it was necessary to cut away some of the floor. About half the kitchen floor is affected.
