Render around exterior door, fit interior bifold doors

1. I have just had new bifold doors fitted to my kitchen. The are around the edge outside needs to be finished off/tidied up - render with eg sand and cement?
2. I have had my lower floor knocked into one room and need to fit a door to comply with building regs. I want to fit some interior bifold doors. The job will involve creating a frame for the doors, fitting them and a small amount of stud partitioning to close off the existing gap around the frame.
