Fit insulation boards to a single brick wall under bay

We have had damp specialists round to inspect black mould that gathers on the bedroom wall u set a bay window. They have confirmed it is mould from condensation and advise ensuring better ventilation to the room. So we are opening the wi Dow more! But I would also like the single brick wall to be insulated so the room is warmer in winter and condensation doesn’t settle on the wall as it is a cold surface
