Imperial flush valve

We have an old imperial flush valve. The blue pipe in the centre usually has a cap on (not the overflow pipe) This has popped off & is nowhere to be seen & water is going down this into the toilet continuely. Does anyone no what this would be called so I can get a replacement??

This is the top cap and can be found in a plumbers merchant, how ever if you cannot locate this you may need to replace the flush valve itself.

You would be looking for a flapper valve cap or you could replace the while unit to a dual flush system as then no longer produce these systems.
