Thermostatic bar mixer shower

Hi, I'm thinking of changing from a electric shower to a thermostatic mixer fed by a combi vaillant eco tec pro 28 boiler I think it's optimum running rate is around 1bar, the boiler is in the bathroom and about 1.5mtrs from where the shower will be, my query is I know my electric shower uses between 3-5 litres a minute and the mixer bar ,riser, and head I'm looking at sends about 8 litres a minute is this a big difference and much more powerful or should I look at one with more litres a minute bearing in mind where the boiler and shower are in relation to each other, thanks

The flow will be much better. The only downside is it takes the hot water a little longer to get through.
The 8lts should be fine.

I personally believe in instantaneous electric showers which will run at the cold water mains pressure and if you get one with a higher litre per minute output then you will guarantee a higher water pressure being delivered. 3 - 5 litres a minute sounds extremely low and although 8 litres isn't the highest it's definitely better than what you have been used to. If your shower is running straight from the mains the mains pressure is likely to be around 3 bar although it does vary from property to property and area to area. Maybe you could check this out first before making your decision

If you have a combi boiler .
You should be perfectly fine to use a bar valve .
You wi have good preasure coming from the boiler to the valve .
