Hi!
I have an old MacDee pneumatic 6 litre concealed cistern. The button has broken and I would like to replace it. My partner has said a branded one is expensive. Is there an alternative to the Macdee button, and if so what should I look for?
The current button isn't flush to the unit, it sticks out by about 2cm. Im not bothered if it has to be replaced by a flatter button. Many thanks.
There is a Macdee Replacement Dual Flush Push Button
A replacement Macdee chrome push button to fit toilet cisterns fitted with the Macdee cable operated dual flush valve
Comes with locking nut and optional shroud
£6 .00 to buy new just replace the broken one - it’s easy to install , pull outwards the facia it just unscrews . It’s a more costly to instal a flat duel plate .
Toolstation and screw fix do equivalent replacement ( you may do a google search on MacDee pneumatic )
