My kitchen tap (hot) makes a grinding sound when either some of the other taps in the house (hot water, shower) are turned on, and sometimes just randomly by itself. The grinding stops once you adjust the kitchen tap.
We have tried clearing airbubbles out of the system but that doesnt seem to have worked.
this is likely to be water hammer, probably caused by loose pipework, loose jumpers in valves etc
Hi It's not the system's fault, it's just that the tap needs to be changed quickly and simply
The grinding noise is caosed from a defective tap this is most commond on taps using a rubber tap washer its often caused by whats known as a loose jumper the the tap whent urned is not seating properly this can also happen to ceramic tap
