About Us:

I'm a 52 year old local man from Nottingham. I've been in the building trade for over the past 36 years, I have a passion for carpentry, but have a wide knowledge
And skill base regarding property's, I'm honest reliable, and hard working.
I have a million pounds liability insurance.

History:

I started in the early 80s learning by the way of hands on in the trade, moving from various companies, by the mid 90s I learned that I had eye for carpentry, did a lot of multi trades, concreteing, painting, floor laying, kitchen fitting, brick work, all to a good stranded, mid 90s became a sole trader, placeing small a advertisement moving onto private homes doing small works.
Also worked for large company's in a a supervisory capacity.

Answers:

If the ground floor part of the chimney breast has been removed, i wouldn't trust the wooden joists! in my opinion you need gallo brackets and maybe a structural engineer.
