Hi no you need to remove old putty if you put new putty over the old it will not bond
Hi it sounds like the sealed unit has blown and the sealing solution used around the edges to seal the glass is breaking down this cannot be repaired the whole unit needs to be replaced
Hi the cost would be about £120 / £150
Hi you you coul save yourself a lot of money by having them refurbished ie new glass handles hinges gaskets new sealant new gaskets is does not cost anything to get a quote and some advise
