May 2010: Received interest for my enquiry from simon. After speaking to him over the phone he said he would come and view the work thats needs to be done I texted him my address and then nothing, not even a coutesy call that he wouldn't be turning up.

Apr 2010: Simon answered my enquiry quickly, and was friendly. Came round, took some measurements and emailed me the next morning with a quote, very easy process. Needless to say, we used Simon and his team, I was amazed at how quickly and easily we went from quote to the shed being up! It was outstanding - very quick & hard working, and the shed, well the actual construction is a lot better than any shed you could just buy. Very happy -- would use again. Thank you

Oct 2008: Carried out a number of jobs we were very happy with until they left a job halfway through and didn't return. We discovered a while later they'd also nailed into a water pipe and rather than tell us they hid it with a squirt of glue until the day it flooded our kitchen. On top of all this the owners son then sent inappropriate texts after they left. Unfortunately I definitely wouldn't recommend them, esp to women clients.

Feb 2008: Job was posted on Sat and quote received on a Sunday without a viewing - very prompt and quote was a good benchmark for later quotes. Only concern was that the tradesman was not very local.

Feb 2008: Simon and his team did an excellent job hanging 10 doors in my house. They turned up as arranged and completed the job in a day dispite me having some very difficuly frames. They were polite and friendly and did their best to keep the house warm and clean. They hoovered and swept after them and cleared all packaging away - I would definitely be happy for them to do further work on my house.

Feb 2008: I could no have asked for a more polite and friendly workman to come and do my work for me. I have 4 doors supplied and fitted, and Simon and his work colleague set out and complete the task in the time allocated. The quote was far better than the others, and the work is very professional and the clean up was great, definitely recommend and will certainly have back for future work!!

Jan 2008: Simon and his crew did a great job building a conservatory, giving us a good quote. They also put together a shed on our deck. They were always punctual, and worked hard trying to get finished before Christmas which they did. I am having them come back to install a sink upstairs. Would recommend them for any jobs. When a few minor things needed adjusting they were back the next day to fix them accordingly.

Dec 2007: I got Simon to quote on the 3 jobs and he came back with pretty good prices. I got him to do one job (reverse the opening of a bedroom door). Him and his son managed it within the hour and swept up also. I would recommend him without fail. He does have a tendency to not ring back when you want him to, but I thinks it's because he is so busy... But very satisfied and will get him in again in Jan 08, for more work! cheers, Simon

Aug 2007: I wanted to give some feedback on the quote process. W D Carpentry sent me an email quote (possibly because they are so far away - I live in Bristol) without viewing the job. It was £105 more than the other two quotes I received from businesses that did visit to quote. If the expense does reflect distance then maybe stick to more local jobs. If not, then ... the job went to one of the two businesses that visited and they quoted exactly the same figure as each other!

Oct 2006: The job was carried out as required and we are very pleased with the final result. Everyone on the job was very polite and worked exceptionally hard. Time keeping was excellent, they arrived early (before 8.00am) and left when dark if it meant getting the job finished. Would thoroughly recommend them and will use them again with no hesitation.
