First sand the area to be painted, than clean the area to remove grease and smoke with trisodium phosfate an efficient cleaner , after the surface is dry put a coat of oil base primer, when primer is dry apply two coats of oil base paint.
First inspect the area of future installation, if the work preceding the insallation is done properly mark the position of the mixer and fit the securing brackets , remove the build-in shround and secure the chrom trim to the mixer , fit the concealing plate and control assembly , check the mixer for leaks .
