Owen Gallagher completed a garage renovation for us as well as laying a new driveway which involves moving substantial amounts of earth and rubbish from the garden. The renovation work involved putting in new plasterboard ceiling and walls, windows, fitting a new toilet/shower suite, tiling etc and sorting out building regs .I found him and his team to be reliable, hardworking and honest. Any minor snagging issues were promptly dealt with. Owen also carried out some ground work in the garden, removing hardcore, laying new turf and completely re-fencing the garden perimeters. This work was carried out, as before, to Owen's very high standards.

Having bought a large victorian house in need of updating we needed a builder who would be able to renovate the property. This involved removing/ adding bathrooms, new plumbing, heating and electrics, removal of walls, new sash windows and doors, plastering, tiling, work on the roof/chimneys and a new kitchen. Paul Mitchell and is team did an excellent job to a very high standard. A challenging project as the house is in a conservation area Paul worked well with the planning officer and building control to meet our deadlines and create a home thats a nice mix of victorian character and the contemporary. With a very good local knowledge he was also able to recommend a local architect for us and help us source thing such as reclaimed floorboards etc. We are now using him to convert a double garage to provide extra living space and remodel the garden area outside. Would be happy to recommend him for any project.
