*Some Information you may need to know if you are planning to undertake a complete bathroom or Kitchen renovations-
Bathroom & Kitchen renovations typically require the combined services of a number of qualified tradesmen:
* A plasterer is dependant on your desired end result and the condition of your walls/ceilings.
*An electrician ( & NICEIC electrician)
Whilst has qualifications for doing the work, a certified NECEIC Electrician will need to visit the property and provide you with your certificate after doing a safety check. This works out a lot cheaper than hiring an NICEIC electricain to carry out the full work and will also be covered in the price we provide you.
We know that hiring a builder is sometimes a nerve racking thought with all the qualifications and certificates required so if you have any questions please contact us and we will be happy to explain what qualifications cover.
If you choose you will not be disappointed.
I started working on sites when I was 16 while I went to college to become a carpenter. After 3 years of site work I qualified with distinctions in Carpentry and began working for a local Authority where I maintained properties. After a year of Carpentry I was offered the opportunity to learn plumbing skills whilst still working for the local Authority. After 3 years of hands on experience in plumbing I qualified in Level 2 plumbing.
I take a lot of pride in my work so working on local Authority properties limited my skills and ideas so in 2006 I decided to start my own business.
I worked for several years specializing in bathrooms and kitchens because they require all of my skills in Carpentry and plumbing. I also do small jobs such as installing new radiators, showers, wash hand basins, taps, skirting, fitting doors and much more. I later employed a young boy of 16 to work with me and have taught him how to tile, he has now enrolled in college to become a plumber.
My skills give me many job opportunities which include intergrated shelving (as seen in pictures), I also lay wood flooring, decking, building sheds ect. I can put my skills into action on almost every aspect of your property.
I enjoy working for myself and having the opportunity to turn my design ideas for peoples homes into reality. I have done small budget jobs and high budget jobs all of which I completed to a high standard.
Whilst working on the small contracts for both the NHS and network Rail, I decided to take a short electrical course so I did not have to keep adding costs by hiring an NICEIC electrician to do the simple elctrical tasks once I qualified I was able to carry out electrical installations and now only require an electrician to certify the work I do. I did enjoy working on contracts but my talent is in giving each individual job the personal touch and what I like most is each job I do is a different design to work with so my work gets better and better as time goes on.
