Plastering over artex with multi finish
Artex always should be removed before plastering.
Papering over dark blue emulation is it possible
A few older houses may have walls painted with calcimine or casein paint. this type of paint is water soluble, and it does not form a strong bond on the wall. wallpaper applied over this paint will eventually peel off. ... you can also use a special glue size called wallpaper primer/sealer to prime the walls.
