Check how joists are fixed and pack up if required 5. Check and install extra noggins (if needed) 6. Install anchors to link joists in grid that dont touch (if required) 7. Good morning, I woudl like to replace my current laminate and carpet floor with engineered wood. The job I would like you to do consists in: - Removal of existing flooring in living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms and disposal/clearance - Fit engineered wood flooring (not changing skirting boards in living room, kitchen, and both bedrooms (total area is about 70sqm). - Remove carpet in the staircase, fill, sand down and paint wooden steps. Can you please let me have a rough estimate of the quote? Right from the surveying stage he was able to evaluate the work properly and to give the right advice to have nice results and keep the budget low when possible. With his team he laid about 70sqm of solid wood floor, painted walls of the entire flat and restored the staircase. His attention to details made sure that the outcome was great. If something didn't come out perfect, he was happy to spend more time on it until i was happy. Totally recommended!
