Hi, we have approx 5 tiles on kitchen floor which are broken and need replacing. Unfortunately we cannot get the same tiles but do have these tiles fitted in the porch. We wondered if someone could take the tiles from the porch and repair the kitchen with them or if not advise us of our options. We will be putting the house on the market shortly so don't want to go to the expense of re-tiling the whole kitchen.

Karl is a friendly chap and very obliging. He does a great plastering job but unfortunatly I could not recommend him to do any tiling. The grout has badly cracked on both floors he has done and the walls are not tiled from the centre working outwards i.e. don't give a symmetrical finish. However he is handy at doing other jobs e.g. plumbing washing machine.

ask for money each day £160 on day one £40 on day two and £40 on day 3 and will only take cash. he had a fit on day 3 when i said i would have to give him a cheque tileing job is crap i said to him it needed more grout and he said that he had run out of it. today i have been and got more grout and adhesive and tiles and relayed some tiles and re grouted the lot, and i must say i have done a better job than he did.

Absolute disgrace from start to finish . Avoid this cowboy . Asked for money every day he was around doing the job . Only stayed for a maximum of 3hrs per day and some days did not even show up . Also turned up at 8pm at night and bank holiday unannounced demanding money for materials which were never purchased . Left the job half done and did a poor job at that , no explantation and no phone calls nor apology . Will never use again
