We used Homeupgraders in November and December 2018 for two projects, the removal of a stud wall and cupboards and putting up a row of Ikea cupboards and the removal of an old kitchen and installation of a new kitchen, also Ikea. Their quotes were reasonable and very detailed and they performed an excellent job. They were happy to make changes,they are wonderfully tidy workmen and very professional. I wont hesitate to use them again.

Williamson was great and I have no hesitation in recommending him. He arrived promptly on the day he said he would and did an excellent job for us.

Complete waste of time. We agreed a price and start date, he then told me the evening before that date that he'd have to wait until the next day, and then he doesn't show up at all and doesn't return my calls or reply to any of my messages like a complete child, with no explanation. Total unprofessional timewaster - steer well clear.

I didn\'t use Peter but met him and there\'s something odd about the feedback from 13 May. Peter definitely speaks English and well. The feedback however is not written in perfect English - but then how much is?

Adam is a worker who gives very good advice and does not like to take any short cuts. His work ethic is great - Do it once do it right. I would defiantly use his services again and would recommend him to others. His level and quality of work is of high standard and can not fault him.

Cristian worked hard and conscientiously and completed a number of jobs in my home. The work ranged from fitting a new kitchen, fitting a washbasin and vanity units in the bathroom, building a small external wall, fitting door canopies and building a variety of shelves. He did each job to an excellent standard. Cristian was punctual, focused, and planned his work in advance. He was tidy and polite and consulted with us at each stage of the work. I am happy to recommend him and will continue to invite him back for more jobs in the future.

I have to say I have never had such a pleasant experience with builders in my home. Not only I am delighted with the new tiling on my kitchen floor and the new work tops in my kitchen, the guys were the tidiest and friendliest builders I have ever encountered. They offered expert advice on my Kitchen and Bathroom and shared ideas they had used before, worked at an extremely fast pace, and just generally a pleasure to have in my home. I will certainly be in contact again when I am ready to have more work done. Thank you!

Cristian from Splendid Design completely redesigned our kitchen in consultation with us, built all the cabinets and shelving units himself from scratch and installed them, did all the plumbing and electrics himself, and laid the floor. We now have much more cupboard space than previously (about 1/3 more probably), more kitchen surface (ditto), and the design of the kitchen is much more ergonomic than before, so it is much easier and more enjoyable to cook, tidy up and do all the domestic jobs you do in a kitchen. The room also looks much bigger than before and is much more attractive and smart. We love it! He is an excellent designer (we had a design done by a major kitchen chain which was nowhere near as good) a skilled carpenter, thinks about details and is great at solving problems that arise - for instance when I ordered the wrong size cooker by mistake and he changed the design so it would fit into the final kitchen. He is also a very hard worker and is punctual, reliable and honest and responds to messages and phone calls. He also does his best to keep costs down and often has alternative suggestions for cheaper ways to do things. He has also done other carpentry and handyman jobs for us including installing sliding doors on our fitted wardrobe which had previously normal doors with hinges. He also planed down doors which would not shut due to the amount of paint on them and because of some strange DIY which had been done by someone else to the door frame so it ended up being a quite complicated job. He has also put up pictures and coat hooks. I would not hesitate to recommend Cristian.

Wayne and Eddie did a brilliant job of sorting out a problem I had with my oven hood where the brackets were pulling away from the wall and leaving it hanging half off. They quickly figured out how to tackle the issue and had it all fixed inside of only 30 mins! The pair of them were super friendly and chatty whilst doing a really efficient, professional and excellent job. I would have absolutely no hesitations in either calling them back for future repairs or recommending them to friends.

Complete bathroom refurb and boiler installation carried out by Gavin and his team. Everything completed to a very high standard. Gavin has a very professional, courteous and open approach which helped to achieve the desired outcome. Always willing to provide advice and regular updates. Tony also has the same attitude and worked tirelessly without compromising on quality of the work. Highly recommended.
