Built in washing machine needs repair. Wooden plinth has rotted so can’t get out to fix. Need old plinth out and new plinth in. Kitchen worktop recommended as plinth.

The wooden post has been has been damaged beyond repair and the gate requires a new post. The problem is attaching a new post to the remaining top 8 x 7 cm parallel bar the 4 off 7 x 2 cm bars and the 4 cross bars. these parallel bars have to be slotted into the new post.
