Walls have recently been stripped of vinyl wallpaper, leaving a mix of bare plaster and surfaces with flaky paint/sealant on them. There are some screw holes that need filling and some hairline cracks. Room is approx. 5.5 m x 3.5 m, 2.3 m high. I don't want lining paper and would prefer the surfaces to be sanded then sealed and/or primed. Perfectly flat wall are not required. A bonus will be paid to anyone who will complete this job before Christmas!

If carpentry undertaken, I wish to have some shelves fitted in a closet which was formerly the airing cupboard and some minor woodwork in kitchen.

Empty maisonette. Tenants have moved out, leaving it very tired . We are keen for a fast makeover so we can sell the property as fast as possible: Mainly painting throughout and a little re- papering. No fitting of bathroom or kitchen required . Just simple filling up of holes and repaint to freshen the property in preparation for sale. £ walls need re papering due to rips... one of which is on stairway. Two outside doors need painting too.

Living room decoration

Old wall paper needs stripping off then ceiling, walls, doors and skirting painted. Not sure of size but quite large. It is a bungalow and as it is the main room it is the whole length of the property. Would like it done by next Tuesday if possible.

Long hallway in bungalow. It has ten doors, decorative coving, painted dado. The walls and ceiling require emulsion and white gloss to wood work. Also quote for kitchen and utility room; emulsion and gloss.

I supply paint and paper. Strip Living room (large room) paper (2 walls) and rehang new, paint woodwork and 2 walls. In hallway paint all. Colours of paint will b the same as existing colours so one coat should do

Painting, wallpapering and carpet fitting

PAINTING and WALLPAPER in childs BEDROOM. Room is approximately 2,70 x 2,70 m. It is half painted/half wallpaper. I intend to: 1- Keep the upper painted part 2- Scrap the existing bottom half wallpaper and border to replace them by some blue paint and a new border. 3- Plaster, along 2 panels, a giant poster in the left corner (that would be either self-adhesive or the classical glued one). Poster size is not definite at this stage, but it will be between 210-336 cm(L) x 140-238 cm(H). I will provide the paint, but I will need to know how much I need to buy for the half surface described. I will also provide the wallpaper paste if I go for that type of poster, but I do not have any other tools. Also, there will still be a couple furniture to be protected in the room (mainly a small double wardrobe and a chest of drawers). CARPET FITTING in SMALL BATHROOM. Dimensions are 2x2 m. 1/ Scrap stained carpet 2/ Fit new carpet or lino flooring (provided) More importantly, I will need the job to be done by the 24th February, but the sooner the better really. AND finally, it will be more practical if it were on a Thursday or Friday as the children are not there. THANKS!
