We are actively looking to hire a tradesman to insulate our wooden summerhouse to make it suitable for use as an office in all seasons.

Interior walls (which are currently made of single layer of wood) and interior roof to be insulated with Rockwool or similar + then covered with timber cladding (treated but not painted). Floor to be insulated with barricade panels and then covered with white laminate with an artificial wood grain. Small defects in existing wooden walls (eg small hole cut out through which a drying machine pipe has been fitted) to be repaired so that structure is sealed.

Approximate dimensions of summerhouse are as follows:

Length: 4.8m
Breadth: 3.6m
Height (to apex of two slanting roof panels): 2.38m

Approx total wall surface area to be insulated and covered with timber cladding = 42.7 m2
Approx floor surface area to be insulated and covered with laminate = 17.3m2

Itemised quotes to include materials, labour, making good and any waste removal
Positive Review for Wito Design And Build Ltd on 21st Apr 2015
Wito did a great job of insulating our summerhouse to make it suitable for use all year round. He followed up his quote with a really clear outline of works so we knew exactly what we were getting for the price. Him and his workmate turned up promptly every day and finished the work in a timely and professional manner. The finished timber-clad interior looks great and we were very pleased with the overall standard of work. Highly recommended.
