Having bought a large victorian house in need of updating we needed a builder who would be able to renovate the property. This involved removing/ adding bathrooms, new plumbing, heating and electrics, removal of walls, new sash windows and doors, plastering, tiling, work on the roof/chimneys and a new kitchen. Paul Mitchell and is team did an excellent job to a very high standard. A challenging project as the house is in a conservation area Paul worked well with the planning officer and building control to meet our deadlines and create a home thats a nice mix of victorian character and the contemporary. With a very good local knowledge he was also able to recommend a local architect for us and help us source thing such as reclaimed floorboards etc. We are now using him to convert a double garage to provide extra living space and remodel the garden area outside.
