Tom has been doing work for me for over six years. The first job he did for me was re-hanging a door, and by my count he has now done ten for me. Over the years, jobs Tom has done for me include (not an exhaustive list):
*Alcove shelving in two rooms (with a cabinet in one of the rooms);
*Full plastering in two rooms (including lining the walls of one room completely in fibreglass as the walls were in a very poor state);
*Cementing walls and floors;
*Levelling floorboards, screwing down floorboards, and covering floorboards in ply;
*Sanding and filling stairs, skirting boards, window frames, door frames, Victorian balustrade and balusters;
*Painting and wallpapering;
*Putting up curtain poles, blinds and mirrors;
*Taking down and putting up flat pack furniture.
I have in the past used other people claiming to be carpenters, but in the end I have always had to get Tom in to fix whatever they did. I can highly recommend Tom for being highly knowledgeable, doing jobs to a high quality, and for being very honest and fairly priced.
