Fence size is 86 inches wide by 92 inches high.
Fencing trellis slat to be 1.5 inches by 0.5 inch. Gap between slats to be 3 inches to match the current gate. So, 19 vertical slats are needed compared to the current 29. 86/(3 + 1.5) = 19. Gap between horizonal slats to be 6 inches. So, 12 horizontal slats are needed. 92/(6 + 1.5) = 12.
Trellis needs support by three vertical 3 inch by 2 inch timbers, and four horizontal 3 inch by 2 inch timbers. Vertical timbers to be cemented into the ground.
Further fence piece 6ft by 8 ft high. 2 concrete posts and gap filled by gravel boards.
Positive Review for Arthur Contracting Services on 26th Sep 2020
Fencing job was 36 ft long by 6 ft high, part of which was on uneven and sloping ground. Wooden posts were replaced with new concrete posts. New lap panels. Trellis fence was 8 ft high by 10 ft wide. Arthur did excellent work on these jobs. Posts and panels were heavy. The Estimates for the two jobs were clearly itemised into labour and the different materials required. Competitive prices – very reasonable. Very satisfied with the work. Strongly recommend. Would use again.
