Plaster/fill holes on plasterboard used to make shelving

Joiner has made us a storage space with shelves. 2 sheets of plasterboard used with lots of screws in now just needs tidied up before painting - I'm not sure if needs full plaster or holes can be filled as well as some beading applied to the corners. If it can be painted too then great, if not I can do this afterwards. :)
