Melvin and his team initially came to fitted a new skylight for us - they knuckled down, worked hard in tough conditions and were always polite and tidy. So much so that I have since invited them back to also fitted us a new front door and a new electrical consumer unit (that was subcontracted to an NIC qualified electrician who was very good too). I need to strip and repaint the external frame of a first-floor sash window in my flat. The external frame I'm referring to is basically the edge of the exterior brick wall. It seems to be rendered with cement and is covered in a thick layer of very flaky, worn looking paint. The old paint needs to be removed and repainted. This may present a challenge as the window is on the first floor - I think it may be possible to do the work through the sash window though to avoid scaffolding. Also - the bottom of the window frame looks rotten and either needs filling or replacing.
